Privacy Policy for BabyBlend

Introduction
BabyBlend ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with (including third-party AI services), how long we keep it, and the choices you have. By using the BabyBlend app, you agree to the practices described below.
Information We Collect
- Parent Photos: Face photos of two adults (the prospective parents) that you upload from your device's photo library or capture with the camera. These photos are the core input the app needs to generate AI baby images.
- Generated Images: The AI-generated baby images produced from your uploaded photos, together with the template / age / style metadata of each generation.
- Account & Purchase Data: An anonymous user identifier issued by our subscription provider (RevenueCat), your generation quota, and records of in-app purchases. We do not require an email, name, or social login.
- Diagnostic & Usage Data: Device model, operating system version, app version, language, IP address (used only to route the request and then discarded), and aggregate interaction events used to diagnose crashes and improve the product.
We collect this information directly from your device when you grant the relevant permissions (Photo Library / Camera) and when you use the app's features.
Face Data and Biometric Information
For purposes of this policy, "face data" means only the two parent face photos you choose to upload for a generation request. BabyBlend does not collect, store, or transmit Face ID data, TrueDepth camera data, face geometry maps, face landmarks, face embeddings, faceprints, biometric identifiers, or biometric templates. BabyBlend does not use face data to identify, authenticate, or track users.
Before your photos are uploaded, the app may use Apple's on-device Vision framework to check whether a selected image appears to contain one clear, front-facing face. This validation happens locally on your device. The face detection result, face rectangle, quality score, yaw value, landmarks, or any other Vision analysis output is not uploaded to BabyBlend servers, not sent to Replicate, and not stored by BabyBlend.
The planned uses of the uploaded parent face photos are limited to: validating that the selected images can be used for generation, uploading the photos to BabyBlend's secure storage, sending the photos to Replicate, Inc. to run the generative AI model, returning the generated baby image to the app, storing the generated image in your gallery, and allowing you to view, save, share, retry, or delete the result. We do not use uploaded face photos for advertising, cross-app tracking, identity verification, or training BabyBlend-owned face recognition models.
How We Use Your Information
- To upload your parent face photos to our secure cloud storage so the app can generate AI baby images on demand.
- To send the uploaded parent face photos to our third-party AI inference provider, Replicate, which runs the generative model that produces the baby images (see "Third-Party AI Service Providers" below).
- To deliver the generated images back to your device and let you view, download, or share them.
- To track your remaining generation quota and process in-app purchases.
- To diagnose crashes, prevent abuse, and improve the product.
Third-Party AI Service Providers
To generate baby images, the app sends your uploaded parent face photos to the following third-party AI service. We have reviewed their data practices and confirm they provide protections substantially equivalent to those described in this Privacy Policy.

We ask for your explicit consent inside the app before your first generation, so you can review what is sent and to whom before any photo leaves your device. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your data (see "Data Retention and Deletion").
Sharing Your Information
Except for the AI processing described in "Third-Party AI Service Providers" above, we do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. We may disclose information only when required to comply with a valid legal obligation, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public.
Data Security
Your photos and generated images are stored on industry-standard cloud infrastructure under our control, encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Access to user data is limited to the systems and personnel that need it to operate the service.
Data Retention and Deletion
- On Replicate's servers (AI inference): Your uploaded parent face photos and the generated images are deleted within 1 hour under Replicate's default API data policy.
- On our servers (storage of your gallery): Uploaded parent face photos and generated images are automatically deleted 30 days after upload. Your purchase records and remaining quota are kept so that your paid entitlements continue to work.
- Manual deletion at any time: Open the app, go to Profile → Settings → Data Management → Delete All Data. This immediately removes all uploaded parent face photos, generated images, and generation history from our servers. Your remaining paid quota and account record are preserved so you can continue to use the app.
- On your device: Photos you save to your device's photo library remain there until you delete them; this Privacy Policy does not control on-device storage outside the app.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to withdraw your consent to AI processing at any time. You can exercise the deletion right directly inside the app (see "Data Retention and Deletion"). For any other request, contact us at the email below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Disclaimer
- BabyBlend is provided for entertainment purposes only.
- All generated images are fictional AI projections, not actual children, and do not represent any real future appearance.
- The images have no medical, genetic, or scientific accuracy and must not be used for medical, genetic, or family-planning decisions.
- You must only upload photos of people who have consented to having their photo used in the app.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
